Jim Bridges started his film and video career in Washington, D.C., as a production assistant and second camera assistant on several national commercials and music videos. In 1994, he moved to Winston-Salem, NC to work as a news videographer/editor at WXII-TV (NBC), where he met his wife, Tonja. They moved to Georgia in 1997 when Jim began working at WSB-TV (ABC) as a news/special projects videographer/editor. Bridges has earned four Southeastern Regional Emmy Awards, a Telly Award, a Green Eyeshade Award for photography, as well as several National Press Photographer Association awards. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and their two children.
